I fell in love with photography in a dark room. It quickly felt like I had fallen in love with a spoiled socialite who had no conscience of taking all of my hard earned money. I had to leave her behind for a more practical digital world. After time spent in Bristol Bay Alaska my mission with my camera became crystal clear. I had found a place I had been looking for my whole life. A place that was completely untouched by human hands, and for that reason, a place that flourished with mind blowing amounts of life. And then I was informed of the proposed Pebble Mine project that would certainly destroy the bounty I had always been looking for. Since that day, I only want to point my camera at beautiful things that are at risk of being destroyed.
